Audioslave, hervorgegangen aus den Ausnahmebands Soundgarden und Rage Against The
Machine, werden am morgigen Mittwoch, den 06. Juli in München im Zenith ein Konzert
im Rahmen des O2 – Musicflash geben! Das besondere daran ? Der Eintritt für dieses
Konzert ist frei!! Audioslave haben bereits in Los Angeles und Cuba (als erste US –
Band seit dem Embargo überhaupt) eine Show umsonst gegeben und für Europa haben sich
Chris Cornell & Co Deutschland ausgesucht. Wer ihren Auftritt im Rahmen von Live 8
in Berlin verfolgen konnte, weiss, dass es eine großartige Show wird! Auch die Fans
der ersten Stunde beider Ursprungsbands kommen auf ihre Kosten, da Audioslave es
sich nicht nehmen lassen den Soundgarden – Klassiker „Black Hole Sun“, sowie die
Rage – Hymne „Killing In The Name Of“ neben ihrem aktuellen Hit „Be Yourself“ und
vielen anderen großartigen Rocksongs zu spielen.

„In the past few months Audioslave have played a free show in Cuba, we have played a
free show in our hometown of Los Angeles, and now it’s time to play a free show in
Germany. We want to do a free show in Munich as a „thankyou“ to our German fans.
Tickets to our recent German concerts were grossly overpriced and not in line with
the history of mutual respect we have for our audience. So how about this ticket
price: FREE. On July 6th Audioslave will play a show at The Zenith in Munich,
absolutely free of charge. Doors open at 7pm and all are welcome…until the
building is full of course! So come on down! We look forward to continuing our „FREE
MUSIC FOR THE PEOPLE“ concerts with this epic rock show in Munich. Hope to see you
there.“
